
Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index)
Vegueta has been included in the Core Collection of Web of Science since 2016, through its incorporation into the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) in the History and Social Sciences, General categories.

Vegueta has been accepted for indexing in Scopus in October 2020. Bibliographic data are currently being imported into SCOPUS. Very soon the journal’s metrics will also be visible in SCImago Journal & Country Rank (SJR).

Vegueta has successfully passed the voluntary quality evaluation of Spanish scientific journals, in the VI Call (2018) of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain.

Iberoamerican Network of Innovation and Scientific Knowledge (REDIB), CSIC
Vegueta is indexed in REDIB, platform for aggregation of scientific and academic content in electronic format produced in the Ibero-American field. REDIB offers a ranking and information based in the citation counting received and generated by the journal.

Integrated Classification of Scientific Journals (CIRC)
Vegueta is included in CIRC, a classification of scientific journals of Social and Human Sciences according to their quality built on the EC3Metrics Group of the University of Granada, obtaining the B Category in Human Sciences and C Category in Social Sciences.

Vegueta accumulates more than 600 citations in Google Scholar, with a H Index: 11 and an i10: 16. In the last report of H Index of the Spanish scientific journals in Google Scholar Metrics 2014-2018, elaborated by the EC3Metrics Group of the University of Granada, the journal ranks 10 of 22 (Multidisciplinary), 27 of 41 (History) and 25 of 30 (Geography).

European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS)
Vegueta has been indexed in ERIH PLUS since 2014. ERIH PLUS is developed by the Permanent Committee for the Humanities (SCH) of the European Science Foundation (ESF) and covers the scientific journals of the Humanities and Social Sciences areas.

Vegueta is included in the multidisciplinary Academic Search Premier and Fuente Academica Plus databases, into the EBSCO Information Services Group.
