The impact of the first Moroccan Issue in the signing of the Entente Cordiale in 1904

Abstract
After the increase in European competition on Morocco at the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, which France considered one of the most important disputed countries among Spain, France, Britain and Germany, especially since the increase in competition coincided with the rise of Germany as a colonial power to be reckoned with by those aforementioned countries, while, the efforts of Spain and France were in vain, after they were unable to reach an agreement on Morocco in 1902, so France had no choice but to settle its colonial differences with Britain, and an understanding regarding Morocco and Siam – currently Thailand -, to avoid a possible European war, Which culminated in a friendly reconciliation agreement in general .
This research attempts to study the role of the first Moroccan issue on France’s conciliatory stance with Britain, and its relentless pursuit of friendly reconciliation, after relations between the two countries were in crisis, and Morocco’s role in Britain’s acceptance of those French endeavors, and how Britain defended Spain’s interests in Morocco! What is the barter agreed upon by the two countries of reconciliation, so that France and Spain will be free in Morocco? What is the condition set by Britain to make the friendly Accord effective between the two countries.
